Why we are family oriented.
The family-building dream started 29 years ago, when my son, Mitch Horton was born. I started a specialty drywall business, Horton Drywall, 33 years ago and was very proud of the business it became. Every summer my son Mitch, was on the job with me at a very early age. He had mastered the art of hanging and finishing drywall by age 18 and was ready to start building a business for himself. I was very proud of his ambition and it was an easy decision for us to go into business together and start building homes for families like ours, that value hard work and excellent craftsmanship.
We feel this family bond, my business experience, and Mitch's dedication to hard work gives us the perfect balance needed to build the very best home for your family. We have added additional family members to our business and it is truly a blessing to be able to do what we love together.

We believe it is very important to make sure our family is the right fit for your family. We always start with an initial consultation, either at the lot you've purchased or the office, to make sure we are perfect for each other.
Building a home can be a frustrating and long process. We will set reasonable expectations from the beginning and will strive to beat those expectations at every corner.
Why we are different.
Our method is simple, we don't take on more than we can handle. We commit to fewer homes at one time to get your family in their new home as fast as possible. Why do we do this? We do not sub everything out. We are there on-site, either my son or I, or both, every business day. THIS is what makes us unique and appealing to our customers.
